Quick Start

Setup Guide

Build from Source

Clone the repository and build the nerad binary using Go 1.23.8 or later.

go build -o nerad ./cmd/nerad

Initialize Node

Initialize your node with a moniker and the correct chain ID.

nerad init "your-moniker" --chain-id nera_587-1

Create Validator Key

Generate your validator keys and securely backup your mnemonic phrase offline.

nerad keys add validator --keyring-backend file

Stake NERA

Create your validator with a minimum self-delegation of 10,000 NERA.

nerad tx staking create-validator --amount=10000000000000000000000anera ...

Start Validating

Start your node and begin validating blocks on the network.
